Kappa League is a subset of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Guide Right, our National Service Initiative. Kappa League was founded on Thursday, February 12, 1969, by the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., at Alain LeRoy Locke High School.

Kappa League is a program for the educational, occupational, and social guidance of male students in grades 6th-12th. It was designed to help young men grow, receive, and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. It provides both challenging and rewarding experiences, which richly enhanced their lives. The fraternity sought to help these young men to achieve worthy goals for themselves and make constructive contributions to their community when leadership roles become the responsibility.

The nucleus and primary focus of the Kappa League revolves around the "Seven Phases" which are:

MEMBERSHIP: The Rochester Alumni Association (RAA) Kappa League Lite Program membership is currently open to male students from 8th through the 12 grades. As we continue to build our program in the Rochester Community, we hope to include middle school students in the near future.

Membership into the RAA Kappa League Lite Program is exclusive, we are looking for dedicated young men that are excited about achievement and success. To learn more about the program please attend the Kick-Off Breakfast on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10AM-11AM.
